Hui’an old material Guanyin carving

Description

This sculpture is made of old material from Hui’an. It is a Guanyin figure with a lotus on her head and seven lotuses under her feet. A jade bottle is placed beside her. The Buddha’s light shines behind her. Her face is dignified and majestic. It symbolizes compassion, wisdom and salvation, and represents freedom and ease, showing an unfettered and free state of mind.

惠安系老料雕刻。自在观音题材，头顶宝莲，脚踩七品莲花，玉净瓶置于身旁，身后佛光普照，开脸端庄大气。其寓意更是慈悲、智慧与救渡的象征也代表着自由与洒脱，展现出无拘无束、自由自在的精神状态。
