Agarwood Industry National Innovation Alliance
The Chinese name of the alliance: "National Forestry and Grassland Administration Agarwood Industry National Innovation Alliance", referred to as "Agarwood Industry National Innovation Alliance"; (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance"); English name: "National Agarwood Industry Innovation Alliance", English referred to as "China Agarwood Industry Alliance", English abbreviation: "CAIA".
The Alliance is a technology innovation cooperation and service platform for the agarwood industry. It is a new scientific and technological cooperation organization voluntarily formed by agarwood industry-related enterprises, scientific research institutes, universities, etc. with independent legal personality in mainland China.
The purpose of the alliance is to establish the main position of enterprises in innovation as the main line, make full use of market mechanisms, establish an innovation system with enterprises as the main body, market orientation, and integration of industry, academia and research, and enhance the core competitiveness of my country's agarwood industry.
The operating mechanism of the alliance is to establish an open industrial research cooperation model driven by the market, supported by technology, and linked by projects. It is guided by the needs of alliance members and operates according to the principle of "whoever invests, who benefits".
The Alliance abides by the Constitution, laws, regulations and national policies of the People's Republic of China, respects social morals, and implements national guidelines and policies for the development of relevant industries.
The chairman unit of the alliance is the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, and the secretariat is located in the Changmingshui Agarwood Characteristic Town in Wuguishan City, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province.
Alliance Responsibilities
(1) Organize alliance members to carry out research and promotion of new products, new technologies and new processes in the industry in accordance with the market demand and technical needs of the agarwood industry;
(2) Establish a technological innovation service platform to provide alliance members with professional laboratories, pilot testing conditions and talent support;
(3) Build an information service platform, establish an information sharing mechanism, and promote technical exchanges and cooperation among alliance members; organize and carry out external exchanges and cooperation activities to accelerate the improvement of agarwood industry technology;
(4) Undertake national and local technological innovation research tasks related to the agarwood industry, provide industrial consultation and policy advice to relevant national departments, and establish alliance scientific research plan projects with self-raised funds;
(5) Strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of alliance members, organize alliance member units to carry out intellectual property publicity, training and other activities, and promote the application of independent intellectual property rights;
(6) Establish and publicize quality standard systems and quality standard management systems, promote industrial standardized production, and conduct comprehensive evaluations of social and economic benefits for the application of various innovative technologies;
(7) Carry out other activities permitted by the purpose of the alliance.
Alliance mission
(1) Guided by the technological innovation needs of the agarwood industry, with the goal of forming the core competitiveness of the industry, with enterprises as the main body, and focusing on the key issues of the agarwood industry technological innovation chain and technological innovation, organize alliance member units to carry out "industry, academia and research" , use "collaborative innovation and technological cooperation to break through the core technology of agarwood industry development;
(2) Integrate innovation resources such as technology, personnel, information, instruments and equipment from alliance member units, create a public service platform and public technology platform integrating testing, testing, information, communication and promotion, and achieve effective division of labor and rationality of innovation resources Connect, implement intellectual property sharing, improve and establish a modern agarwood industry technology innovation system;
(3) Accelerate the promotion and transfer of technological achievements, promote the industrialization and commercial application of scientific and technological achievements, and enhance the overall competitiveness of the agarwood industry;
(4) In response to the needs of industries and enterprises, strengthen the team building of the alliance's scientific research commissioners, jointly cultivate talents, improve the industrial technological innovation capabilities with enterprises as the main body, and provide talent support for the continuous innovation of the agarwood industry;
(5) Conduct consultations on technical issues and development trends of the agarwood industry, and organize seminars, demonstration meetings, exchange meetings, etc.;
(6) Organize alliance member units to participate in the formulation and revision of national, industry, group and other standards to form important industrial technical standards.
