Su Liuhe was born in 1973 in the world-famous "Cultural Capital of East Asia", the ancient cultural city of Quanzhou. A family of sculptors from Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, he studied under Mr. Huang Quanfu, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, and is also a collector of agarwood.
Artistic style: In carving creation, we adhere to the artistic concept of "give shape to materials and carve according to shape".
He has delved deeply into the field of agarwood carving, and his works have won many awards since he began his career. For example, from 2012 to 2016, his wood carving works "Eight Laughing Buddha", "Boys Worshiping Guanyin", "Three Saints of the West", "Jingsheng Bodhidharma", "Guan Gong", "Eighteen Arhats Worshiping Guanyin", "Shepherd Boy", "Perfect Guanyin", "More than a Year" and " "Eighteen Maitreya Buddhas" and other works have won gold medals in various craft exhibitions. Among them, the work "Three Saints of the West" has been collected by the China Arts and Crafts Museum.
In 2016, he was awarded the Outstanding Promoter of Agarwood Agriculture Development, and in 2019, he was awarded the Top Ten Influential Figures in China's Agarwood Industry.
He published the books "The Beauty of Agarwood 1" in 2012 and "The Beauty of Agarwood 2" in 2015. In 2016, he edited and published "The Art of Carving by the Great Craftsman".
